Sisters on the verge of a long journey

They didn't know what was in store for them! Today we drove down from Veberöd to Katwijk in the Netherlands, for a 10 day holiday. No matter what way you go it always seems to take around 12 hours, but this time it was 12 hours from hell, as temperatures in Germany were exceeding 32°C and we have no air conditioning in our Skoda ("för nuftiga människor" as they say in their Swedish ads...) The sweat dripped freely and tempers got frayed (particularly those of the 5-year old), but we survived largely thanks to the computer game of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, a laptop and a battery charger that connected to the cigarette lighter. However this meant that conversation was thin on the ground for the poor driver. Got there around 21.30.
